Between 1986 and 1992, largely as students, Vegetables At Last recorded a whole bunch of demos in various studios in Edinburgh, London and Huddersfield. Over subsequent years a few of them have resurfaced as re-recordings and this is a collection of those songs. Where songs have previously appeared on an album (four of them) a new version is included here. So this is, in effect, what 'might' have been our debut LP. Some of these recordings are not exactly our finest hour but they remain of value to some from a nostalgia perspective so, frankly, why not...
